Albuquerque Grub

I traveled to Albuquerque last week on business.  I worked a lot.  I also ate a lot.  I’d mostly eat a large lunch & skip dinner or have a light one not worth photographing.

I got in to town in time for a late lunch.  I popped over to Taco Cabana for a cheese enchiladas, Boracho Beans & Rice Smothered in Green Chile.

The next day I had lunch over at Jimmy’s on Jefferson.  I love that place.  My favorite lunch is the. Chicken Green Chile Soup & Pastrami Sandwich. That soup is SO good; I want to take a bath in it.

One day I tried a new place to me — The Prime.  I had THE best club sandwich.  The Kitty Kat Club is a triple decker grilled sourdough, shaved turkey, ham, pancetta, Swiss, sharp cheddar, pesto mayo, lettuce & tomato.

Another lunch was back over at Jimmy’s where I had the Carne Adovada.  This is tender carne adovada with grilled onions, country potatoes, two eggs any style, smothered with red chile, topped with  cheddar & jack cheese and sour cream. I forgot to ask them to hold the sour cream.
