Handcrafted Perfection

Lunch today was eaten at the Golden Valley Brewery Restaurant.  I was in the mood for a big, juicy burger.

This place has been flawless until my previous visit when the food seemed mediocre.  The restaurant has enjoyed great success and has been very busy.   I hoped they weren’t resting on their laurels or the newness had worn off and the honeymoon over.

Thank goodness the previous tasteless meal was just a fluke.  Today my Brewpub Burger was stellar.  The meat was juicy and flavorful.  The fries were piping hot, fresh from the fryer and perfectly salted.  (I’m a fry fanatic!)

Hubby tried something new.  He had the Tuscan Chicken sandwich which the menu describes as, “boneless chicken breast marinated in olive oil, garlic and fresh herbs, broiled and served on toasted kalamata olive focaccia with roasted red pepper Aïoli, Tillamook white cheddar cheese, organic arugula, tomato and red onion.”  How can you pass that up?  He enjoyed it very much.

It really was quite delicious and I was so happy that one of my favorite restaurants didn’t let me down.

[…] not sure why the quality of Golden Valley has been up and down for us.  The last time we ate there I was happy to see the quality was back since the time before wasn’t up to par. […]
