Blossom, Aria Las Vegas

We recently took a trip to Las Vegas.  I love going to Vegas.  We stayed in the Aria for the first time and I was impressed and pleased with the friendly staff and luxurious rooms.

While there we ate at Blossom, an authentic Chinese restaurant.  Chef Chi Kwun Choi earned the exclusive Epicurean Award for Best Chinese Restaurant in Las Vegas and I’d have to agree.

I had the absolute best hot and sour soup I’ve ever eaten.  I don’t even have words for how delicious it was but when I got to the bottom of the bowl, I wanted more.  The soup alone will be enough to prompt another trip to Vegas.

The Mister and I are huge rice and noodle fans so we ordered both.  We had much more food than two people can eat and were sad to send the leftovers to waste.  If we had a refrigerator in the room, we would have definitely taken them.

The BBQ pork chow mein was delicious.  I love noodles that I can sink my teeth into.  (Not pictured is the chicken chow mein made with the Singapore vermicelli noodles for The Mister.)

We both shared the Yang Chow fried rice.  It contained BBQ pork and shrimp.  It was such a delicate dish.

Here’s a photo of the decoration placed on each table.  I thought it was pretty so I snapped a photo of it.
