It’s more difficult here to find char siu pork. Back in Portland I could easily find it at a nearby grocery store but that is not the case here. So I decided to make some at home. It was a huge hit with the Mister.
I used part of it for shoyu ramen. The rest I will use for BBQ pork lo mein or fried rice.
Recipe please? Can’t find it here in the middle of the desert either (well on the rare occasion at the local ‘Asian Market, I don’t like that term…) 🙂
