Tonight I made a pork roast in the Ninja 3-in-1.
The recipe I followed called for using Natures Seasoning, which I didn’t have. I found a recipe to copy Natures Seasoning online which called for:
- 1/4 cup salt (I omitted; we’re trying to watch our sodium)
- 1 tablespoon black pepper
- 2 tablespoons dried parsley flakes, finely crushed
- 2 teaspoons onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
I combined the spices above well to make a rub. I rubbed the roast with the seasoning and seared it in the Ninja. Next I added 2 cups of chicken broth and set the Ninja to SLOW COOK LOW for 7 hours.
I made gravy using the pan drippings, Wondra and butter.
I didn’t have fresh green beans so I used canned. Served with 2 scoops of rice with gravy (as my friend Auntie Doni would say) and dinner was delicious!
