Green Chile Burger

We were in the mood for a BIG burger tonight. A honking huge burger. Back when The Mister and I lived in Portland and craved a burger, we’d go over to McMenamins Imbrie Hall and enjoy a big burger washed down with their Hammerhead beer. Mmmmm.

We are no longer near that restaurant but a burger at home can be just as good. The plus of enjoying it at home is that you can hose off easily from all the juicy goodness.

Ground sirloin with green chiles mixed in. Lightly seasoned with garlic powder, onion powder and black pepper and cooked to well-done.

Served on a Ciabatta roll spread with mayonnaise, mustard, generous helping of onion, dill pickle slice, lettuce and tomatoes.

    I mean really, come on man! You must read my mind! That’s what I’m making tonight, only I add BACON and Hatch green chiles on top rather than in the burger. All washed down with a Blue Moon (or two or three 😉 )and then an Ice Cream Sundae for dessert.

      Really??? I love that!!! Yeah, usually the chiles go on top but was trying something new!!
