Tonight The Mister and I went over to Tsunami Sushi because Baby Girl is in town from a tiny mountain town here in Colorado where they only have deer jerky and that kind of thing. She’s been craving sushi. She was very satisfied and happy with her dinner.
I thought I’d try something different from my normal sushi — besides, I could just graze off The Mister’s plate since he did get the normal sushi favorites.
Me? I tried the Blazing Noodles with chicken. This dish is normally made with Chow Fun noodles but I asked if they could make it with Lo Mein noodles. There is also Thai basil, garlic, cilantro, carrots, sugar snap peas, tomato and scallions tossed in a spicy pepper sauce. The chicken was so very tender and the snap peas were nice and crunchy and I could eat Thai basil on everything so that was a win-win. It was quite tasty and I have a lot of leftovers.
Tomato you say, that’s different
Must be a fusion thing…………….PF Chang’s puts tomatoes into their spicy chicken noodle soup.
